Angela currently lives in Edmond, OK and is married to Pastor Derrick A. Scobey of Ebenezer Baptist Church. When her husband was tasked with what seemed to be an impossible endeavor of distributing millions of dollars worth of food and household items to those in need, Angela suggested channeling distribution to Oklahoma’s originally designated All Black Towns.
Angela has also had the honor of hosting the Minister’s Wives luncheon for the National Baptist Convention of America, International.
She is the mother of twins (Will Scott & Emerald Scott), LaceyAnn Lake, and Elijah Scobey & Aliyah Scobey through marriage. Angela is also the grandmother of identical triplet granddaughters, April, Summer and Autumn Green.
Angela finds solace from Jeremiah 1:5 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”
